My brother was a resident here for years, and during that time, the staff was very helpful in keeping me informed of his health and well-being. I live on the West Coast, so I couldn’t physically come in or visit him. The staff would call me with updates, hospital admissions, and ongoing care. Unfortunately, my brother passed away, and I was notified immediately upon his passing. I cannot thank the entire staff and Care Manager enough for their compassion toward my brother. You all made this transition as positive as possible. Thank you all!
Bronx Park has been a home for my brother for over 20 years. I have come to feel very comfortable and see this place as his second family. The entire staff, beginning with the receptionist as soon as I walk through the door, are welcoming and cheerful. The staff is very involved with my brother's care and constantly informs me of anything that happens to him. They call me regularly and update me on his progress. They are open to questions and respond promptly when I have a request. They take him to his appointments outside of the facility. They always have activities going on for the residents and celebrate their birthdays, making them feel special. Naturally, when my mother fell ill and needed a nursing facility, we chose Bronx Park. She has been there for a short time but is already receiving the care and attention she needs. She is bed-bound, so she requires more care than my brother, but I have no doubt they will also take excellent care of her. Thank you to each and every person involved in the care of my two loved ones.
My sister and I wanted to provide a glowing review of the staff at Bronx Park Rehab. We selected Bronx Park Rehab after reviewing other Google Reviews. We did not have prior knowledge or experience in this area. Our father arrived at Bronx Park Rehab in late December 2023 for rehab after a hospital stay. Everyone was so kind and caring to our father and the whole family, which meant so much to us. Unfortunately, my father arrived at the rehab unresponsive, which meant he unexpectedly needed end-of-life care (the change in his medical status was not at all related to the care provided by Bronx Park Rehab). The staff at Bronx Park provided a seamless transition and support to end-of-life care, putting us at ease. The staff was incredibly professional and provided us with comprehensive updates. We could not have envisioned a better, more peaceful outcome. I would highly recommend Bronx Park Rehab to others in need of rehab or nursing support.
My father recently was discharged from this rehabilitation facility. He stayed in this rehab for around 6 months to recover following a terrible fall that made him particularly weak due to his chemotherapy. Overall, my father had a good experience; he had some helpful aids. He really enjoyed his physical and occupational therapy treatments there. That's what he said he'd miss the most. The RN nurse supervisor named Linda, was very wonderful. Such a doll! She always helped with all my father's out-of-the-city chemotherapy sessions, and she was the first person I called whenever I had a question about medication or a health issue. The members of Linda's team were excellent. I'd also like to express my gratitude to Jackie Ryan, the director of social work there. Jackie ALWAYS responded when I would contact her on different days and at different times, and if I had a concern, she would go check on my father. Even the discharge procedure was made simple by her, and she thoroughly explained it to me. The six months my father spent there were good overall; I felt safe knowing he was there and that someone was watching out for him. If something happens, the facility will also let you know and keep you informed. I'm happy I chose this center for my father.
The staff was amazing!!! Everyone from Admissions, Finance, Social Work, Therapists, Nurses, and Aides were efficient and caring. My ex-husband was there short-term for rehab, and the therapists did an amazing job getting him back to the point where he could swallow whole food and walk without bending and shuffling. He was back to the person he was six months ago.
I have visited and interacted with the staff at Bronx Park Rehab & Nursing Center over the years as the guardian for a couple of residents there. My experience has been very positive. The staff is welcoming and caring. Jaclyn Ryan, the Director of Social Services, is exemplary. She is very knowledgeable, highly diligent, and responsive to requests and issues regarding the residents. Bronx Park Rehabilitation is a tremendous place for your loved ones, where they can receive professional and family-centered care. My uncle has been staying here, and it is one of the best decisions our family has made. Since my uncle has been here, he has improved amazingly well. Bronx Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is a superb place for quality of life, person-to-person care, and everything wonderful, from outstanding clinical care in sustaining the health and well-being of their patients/residents to enhancing their lives through daily activities. My brother is a resident there and is doing extremely well, thanks to a wonderful administrator, Steven, and his professional staff, who possess the qualities of compassion and empathy. These are just a few of the wonderful and caring employees who enrich the life of my brother, Gary. The staff calls me periodically throughout the year, and each of them gives me an update on how well he is doing. He has gained weight, which he desperately needed to do, and he actively contributes to all the social activities, thanks to this wonderful and caring staff. I thank each and every one of them, for they are fantastic and provide the best possible care, ensuring their patients are happy and healthy on a daily basis. Jackie, the Director of Social Work, is amazing. She was a huge help during a discharge—very seasoned, energetic, and caring. She coordinated every detail with a T. Rega from their business office and is a pro too—helpful and knowledgeable. The rehab staff member I spoke with was also clearly on top of a detail that needed attention. This is a facility where the administration recognizes the value of staff who are invested in making the experience work for everyone involved—patients and their families.

After transferring my aunt from another nursing home facility (due to unsatisfactory care), I saw a great improvement at Bronx Park Rehab within just a few weeks.
